Key Responsibilities of the Division

The Finance Division operates under the Administration Division to assist the Chief Executive Officer of Education in coordinating and managing the financial resources of the Ministry. The main functions and responsibilities of the Finance Division are to:

• Implement Budget Estimates with cost effective public expenditure management policies and regulations, including procurement and assets management. • Provide effective management and supervision of the Ministry‟s projects being funded through Development Assistance and through the Ministry‟s Recurrent Budget.

• Provide assistance in the Ministry Plans, such as Corporate Plan, Annual Management Plan, Ministry Budget Estimates, and Work Plans for the Development Projects.
